Squash fever spreading across the world

U.S. Open squash will again be broadcast to a global audience of millions in 2012, through Squash TV – the Professional Squash Association’s (PSA) official live and video on-demand broadcaster.

The Delaware Investments U.S. Open Squash Championships finals last year reached a potential 1.2 billion households through dedicated television coverage via Squash TV’s major distributors, including Sky Sports, Ten Sports, One World Sports, Bloomberg TV, Fox Sports and SNTV.

With the 2012 Allam British Open Squash Championships currently underway and also being broadcast to squash fanatics worldwide through Squash TV, the global appetite to watch the top professional players compete on the PSA World Series Tour circuit is swiftly increasing.

This year’s British Open, from May 14-20 at the O2 in London, features an impressive men’s and women’s 32 player draw including the very best squash players from across the globe. Most will head on to the United States in October to battle it out for the U.S. Open’s prestigious title and record prize money of $185,000.

The U.S. Open runs from October 4-12, and Squash TV will be featuring live matches, replays, and highlights to subscribers including the women’s quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals.

Live coverage of the British Open is currently underway at PSA Squash TV. As an exclusive offer, any subscribers during the British Open are being entered into a competition to win a squash racket signed by the tournament champion!
